Susan Fredman

Chairman & Founder

Susan Fredman is one of Chicago’s most prominent residential interior designers. As the founder and chairman of Fredman Design Group, Susan has always been passionate about working closely with clients to uncover their individual tastes and interior design dreams. Susan’s work does more than tell the story behind her clients, it captures their aspirations and brings them to life in the spaces she creates.

Susan’s human-centered approach to design thinking is an approach that has always been a cornerstone of the entire Fredman Design Group philosophy. For Susan, her belief that design matters for everyone has also led to the foundation of Designs for Dignity, an industry non-profit dedicated to transforming environments through pro-bono interior design services and in-kind donations. Through creating spaces of hope, dignity, and comfort, Susan hopes to empower and transform the life of every human being.

Throughout Susan’s career, she has been an active part of the design community.
